i really have to say, although i keep complaining about going home..
going to obs was.... fun yet tiring at the same time
i dont know, but there were times when i really felt like giving up
first day, got seperated into grps whereby lee and jessi were placed in armstrong, cassan and i in chengho while fish was in amundsen
chengho:agatha,vanessa,sarah,beatrice,jasmine( from st anthony's canossian) and daphne,sophie,jolin(?),angeline,perly,royal,kaywei,samuel and leon from our very own nchs
i mean i didnt really know any of these people well at all
these 5 days made me know them better esp those in nchs
they're really really nice and friendly people
first day-had ice breakers,packing of stuffs,distribution of food,kayak practice,setting up of tents,cooking ourselves
second day-had height activities and trekking to another campsite at night
this was also the day i got my sunburn, it only hurt like hell the next morning
trekking at night was difficult, first time doing this so it was kinda tiring and we even had to pee in the bushes because it was kinda of a makeshift campsite
third day-woke up feeling terrible. sunburned and i was feeling very awful. i cried and really wanted to go home because i felt my skin burning and it was unbearable. i was crying then lee started to cry followed by jessi,angeline and cassan.
like mass crying session like that, was quite funny
then had trekking expedition and after it was done, i felt better and so didnt insist on going home anymore
fourth day-sea expedition( we kayaked for a total of 9hrs30mins ), felt fustrated at first because of the sun and because my hand was burning and idk, i just felt really confused and numb and irritated
im really sorry to cassan!! because she had to tolerate all these nonsense shit from me, im so paiseh if i was bad!! i honestly didnt mean it
reached campsite late and had to cook,pitch tents and go to bed
thanks agatha and grp for helping cassan and i to pitch our tents because there were only 2 of us and it was like impossible to set up the tents on time ( angeline went home in the morning and jasmine went to another tent to sleep ), plus the fact that my hand was like shit and i couldnt really help in tent-pitching
fishy came our tent to sleep, cassan was exhausted so she fell asleep first
fish and i were damn energetic so we were outside chitchatting and stuff happily until we both saw what we thought was a gh**t
we quickly ran into the tent and talk and slowly fell asleep
it was damn stuffy though
only in the morning when we woke up then realised it was only a lamp post or something and not the g-word thingy
LOL, okay like very dumb like that >< fifth day-woke up and cleaned stores and received certs and pics and went home
cassan's phone batt kinda expended due to the hot weather, cheerup girl!!
then i was kinda down and hot-tempered i would say because i was constantly blowing my hands ( it was bloody burning like omg, i thought i could die )
then reached obs reception centre at punngol, bought obs shirts
i like!! feel like buying more lor omg
the dri-fit one nice leh!!
anw when on the way home i was feeling really bad cause i kinda lost patience while waiting
sorry guys! ( honestly )
anw daddy came to fetch me and the aircon just instantly healed me
hahaha
nola, i just felt really much much much better
fetched fishy home also then daddy brought me to eat chicken rice
everyone was staring at me there lor, i looked so.... horrible terrible like vegetable or something
came home, felt really good to be able to bathe in a clean bathroom
daddy bought ice cream for me after his work( thanks daddy! )
overall, learned many many things and did stuff i never thought i would ever have done
learned that i gotta hang on no matter under what kinda circumstances
i learned to cherish and appreciate what i have at home!!! ( im actually quite happy to be home cause my sunburn no longer hurts, thank god!!!!! )
made new friends and talked to people and i kinda miss camp although i kept swearing about it
hehe
ironic really, obs sucks and rocks at the same time
you have to go through it to understand
great experience but like what cassan said, once is enough
( damn tough lor!! )
going through it another time would be... idk.. weird because idk
okay, just weird ;O
anw, just really thank you to cassandra tan!!
because she was in the same watch as me and so yeah..
alot alot of things to say but idk how to say out
but just thanks kay, for understanding the discomfort i felt during the camp
and im sorry for stuffs
and that sorry that i didnt know how to console you today when you cried
dont worry about the phone and just enjoy your trip to hk!!
